Day 85

We move one week from tomorrow!!!!! I don't know whether I'm :) or :( about it. Part of me is so excited, but the other part of me is so terrified.

The closing is on a Tuesday. I volunteer at our church on Tuesday mornings. Zach has that whole day off, so he is going to come with me that morning and we have the closing that afternoon.
I was telling him that we'll be done at the church by 11:00, so that will give us 2 hours until the closing. I said we can run home and change and make it to the closing on time. He gently reminded me that we can't go home and change. (Long dramatic pause here) Again, something so obvious, but it didn't even cross my mind.

The last garage sale is tomorrow. After that we just have to pack up everything else that is left. And there is quite a bit left. We're not positive everything we have left will fit in the rv, pretty sure we're going to have to go through the stuff again and decide what is really important to keep and what we can get rid of. That one will be harder I think because the only stuff we kept now is the stuff we really wanted to keep.

So we are moving right along now. It won't be too long before I'm sitting in the rv typing this instead of the house (well I'll be in a hotel before the rv, but you know what I mean). Now I'm off to pick Autumn up from school. I hope she had a great day. :)

  1. Tonya,
I came across your blog from another that I read. You are a blessing. I am also a Christian, and my husband and I will be going into full time ministry in 20 months, when he retires. We are looking at joining SOWERS, and are really excited (and I am really impatient). We are in a long slow process of converting an airport type bus into a small camper, it has been 5 years and hopefully will be done in another year. Thank you for reminding me what a great God we have, and that everything done in His timing and His will is perfect. I look forward to reading your blog, you are a great writer.

  2. Thank you so much for your kind words. We do have a great God. It's easy to get caught up in the world and forget that sometimes. But when it's his will, he'll make sure we have everything we need. Just keep plugging away at your camper and let me know how it goes.

    Tonya
